DESCRIPTION
Suction Lift Settling Tanks are used for the removal of biological sludge and floating particles in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
Construction breakdown:
- Material for the rotating bridge is predominantly mild steel painted to specification or hot dipped galvanised for smaller units.
- Submerged components are manufactured from galvanised steel, 3CR12 or stainless steel.
- Bridges are manufactured from a heavy section Z formed bent plate or pipe which both have a built-in centre camber.
- The central, large diameter heavy-duty turntable bearing ensures sufficient axial and radial load bearing capacity.
- The drive and idler wheel assembly is robust and fully enclosed for safety purposes
- Scum removal systems can be supplied for all clarifiers. Scum baffle brackets are designed for vertical and horizontal adjustments in order to fix the scum baffles in a true circle, allowing for tolerances within the civil structure
The V-notch weirs are laser-cut for accuracy and installed with a non-permeable sealer strip to ensure a good seal.
